Fearful joy; doubtful worship (?) / Matthew 28
I’ve read Matthew 28 a boatload of times, but I’ve never once been so spellbound by the themes of fear, joy, doubt and worship. Usually my attention is diverted to the Great Commission or to the nature of Jesus’ resurrection appearances or to the fact that it is two women (Mary Magdalene and the other Mary) who are the first witnesses of Christ’s resurrection).

If I have tried to bring anything to federal politics, it is the idea that hope and optimism should be at their heart.
We CAN look after each other better than we do today. We CAN have a fiscally responsible government. We CAN have a strong economy; greater equality; a clean environment.

I'm not healthy
I’ve been back and forth to the doctor’s office way too often over the past few months: blood tests, x-rays, an M.R.I., etc. It’s hard coming to terms with the fact that at 27 years of old my body is failing me. I’m not healthy:
